the blood transfusion scene at the end of mad max: fury road was more intimate and passionate and emotionally satisfying than any end-of-movie makeout session I’ve ever seen and I’m so impressed that they found a way to convey the emotional bond between these characters without having them suck face for a while (esp since they were the male and female leads)
